Em Sherif – Sea Cafe

Anchored in the heart of Beirut by the shore of the Mediterranean sea, Em Sherif Sea Café is where the best of yesterday and today combine, deliciously. Crisp and contemporary, the elegant, airy café is a visual and culinary homage to Lebanon’s historic ties to the Mediterranean world both through the theme of its delicately hand-painted Portuguese Azulejo wall tiles, and varied menu of main and mezze-style offerings, focused around fresh fish and seafood dishes. From à la carte dining, to coffee, shisha and late-night bites, Sea Café is as much a place to socialize, as it is to eat.

Assisting in the beautiful design of Em Sherif Sea Cafe is a meticulously curated lighting scheme. In cafes and eateries, where mood and atmosphere are imperative, the lighting solutions deliver efficiency, beauty and ambience. Our SYV luminaires were supplied and installed throughout the project for their timeless finish and outstanding lighting effects.

Warm luminance from the Encanto, Acento and Vino Magnetic Track Lights fills the volume of the eatery. Specifically, the Encanto Track light focus onto each dining table, creating a sense of intimacy and comfort for the best dining experience. Zoe 35 the recessed luminaires, fitted in continuous lines, were chosen to contribute to the composition and harmony of the space by creating stripes.

In addition to lighting, Lutron RA2Select system was also incorporated. The system allows you to control and monitor lighting and shades in each work area to reduce energy costs and enhance comfort.

In the end, the project exceeded client expectations in terms of the beauty, comfort, and functionality of the space and it was delivered on time and under budget.
